D’Arcy has worked with Elemental since 2005. Regionally and in New York, D’Arcy has worked with Trinity Rep, Portland Stage, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre, Elemental Theatre, Workhorse, The Gamm, Perishable Theatre, The Vineyard Playhouse, LAByrinth, The Public Theater, American Globe, HERE, Messenger Theater, Brass Tacks, Hubinspoke, and Bread and Puppet Theater. She holds a BA in Dramatic Lit from Oberlin, an MFA in Acting from Trinity Rep Conservatory/RIC, and studied physical theater under Jacques Lecoq at L’École Internationale de Théâtre in Paris. She teaches Speech at Brown/Trinity Rep and has been a member of Actor’s Equity since 2002.
Katie Hughes

Katie has performed with Elemental Theatre in Recession! (The Musical) and Zombie President, and has previously stage managed deca.go.go, 3.a.go.go, The Father, The Son and the Holy Go.Go, and Go.Go 5. She is the General Manager for the Providence Improv Fest, Rhode Island's only improvisational comedy festival. Katie continues to work with and support the Manton Avenue Project, performing and directing plays written by children. Katie is a graduate of Providence College and holds a degree in Theatre and Writing.
Alexander Platt

Alexander joined Elemental Theatre in 2005. With Elemental he has directed 12 plays, including Amadeus, Go.Go 5 and Vacancy. He has also written 11 plays, including Prophet Margin, True Time Broke and RedPop, and has co-written The End of the World Cabaret, deca.go.go and Vacancy with Dave Rabinow. As an actor, Alexander has worked throughout New England. Favorite roles include Paul in Paul, Michael in Festen, and Zamir in Why Torture is Wrong…And the People Who Love Them (The Gamm); Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Perishable Theatre/Trinity Rep); Judas in The Pathological Passion of the Christ (La Mama, Etc); George Barber in Possible Worlds and Vealtninc Husz in A Bright Room Called Day (Elemental Theatre). Alexander is a 2002 graduate of the Trinity Rep Conservatory and hails from the gorgeous shores of Lake Superior.
Dave Rabinow

Dave Rabinow, a founding member of the Collective, has been writing plays for the company since its inception, including Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman (2005), Regenesis (2007), Six Short Films about Black Holes (2008), Two Of Us (2010), and A Brief History of the Earth and Everything In It... (2011). He adapted Carlo Gozzi’s King Stag (2007) into a musical (with composer Paul Scharf), and co-wrote deca.go.go (2009) and Vacancy (2012) with Elemental Artistic Director Alexander Platt. He has also written the late-night live-action radio plays Zombie President (2008), Recession! (The Musical) (2009, co-written with Peter Sampieri) and Michele & Marcus Bachmann's Christmas Intervention (2011). He has appeared in a number of ETC productions and he has performed locally at the Gamm, Trinity Rep, Perishable Theatre, and 2nd Story Theatre. He leads a playwriting workshop at the Gamm Studio, teaches at the Trinity Rep Young Actors Summer Institute and at Providence College, and is a member of Improv Jones. He holds an MFA in Acting from the Trinity Rep Conservatory.
Melissa Rabinow

Melissa is a founding member of Elemental Theatre and has worked as a dramaturg, director and stage manager since its inception in 2004. She has an MFA in Dramaturgy from Brandeis University and a BA from Wheaton College. When not with Elemental, Melissa can be found working at Moses Brown School, volunteering with the Manton Avenue Project or chasing her daughter Molly.
