Alexander Platt - Artistic Director
Alexander joined Elemental Theatre in 2005. With Elemental he has directed 12 plays, including Amadeus, Go.Go 5 and Vacancy. He has also written 11 plays, including Prophet Margin, True Time Broke and RedPop, and has co-written The End of the World Cabaret, deca.go.go and Vacancy with Dave Rabinow. As an actor, Alexander has worked throughout New England. Favorite roles include Paul in Paul, Michael in Festen, and Zamir in Why Torture is Wrong…And the People Who Love Them (The Gamm); Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Perishable Theatre/Trinity Rep); Judas in The Pathological Passion of the Christ (La Mama, Etc); George Barber in Possible Worlds and Vealtninc Husz in A Bright Room Called Day (Elemental Theatre). Alexander is a 2002 graduate of the Trinity Rep Conservatory and hails from the gorgeous shores of Lake Superior.
